Mint-licious Smoothie
Summer is officially here, along with the hot summer days. What better way to cool off, then a smoothie? Well, I have the perfect smoothie for you to try. Think mint chocolate chip ice cream, but in smoothie form. This smoothie is a delicious treat after a long summer day. It even provides one serving of veggies, you won't be able to taste the veggies though! Next time you're craving a sweet treat, try this smoothie out (it's basically like eating ice cream, without the guilt though ; ).

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1- 16 oz. smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh spinach
1 cup frozen banana chunks
2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
10 drops of peppermint extract (use a pipette to measure the peppermint extract)
1 T. dark chocolate chips
Directions:
Add all the ingredients to a blender.
Blend on low to medium speed until everything is blended together.
Pour smoothie into your favorite cup and enjoy!
